Capybaras are a type of animal in Fields of Mistria. Capybaras become available to purchase in Hayden's Shop at the start of winter after you've upgraded his farm and have built a coop on the player's farm.
Obtaining[]
In order to purchase a capybara you must first upgrade Hayden's Farm. Once the farm is upgraded, Hayden will then have additional animals available for purchase, including capybaras.
In order to buy a capybara, you must have a coop with at least one free space. Coop blueprints can be purchased at the Carpenter's Shop.
Once you have a coop with a free space, you can buy a young capybara from Hayden in his Shop for 2,000 Tesserae on his farm. Initially only 3 colors of capybara are available.
After 3 days your youngster will mature.
Care[]
Ranching is all about your relationship with your animals and their well-being. Improve it through daily feeding and petting.
Another way to improve your relationship is to call them outside on sunny days, however you should remember to call your animals inside at night. If they are left outside overnight they will be angry and not produce anything the next day.

Different colors of capybara can be bred - see breeding guide for more information.
Once you have bred a specific color once, you will then be able to purchase more capybaras of that color at Hayden's Shop.
Your capybaras can also be sold at Hayden's Shop. Their sale price depends on friendship level with the capybara, and its color rarity.
