Juniper is a character in Fields of Mistria.

Story

Juniper is a mysterious sorceress drawn to Mistria when she learns that magical mists and monsters of legend have begun appearing in the area after the recent earthquake. She then starts up a bathhouse. The bath house is largely a cover for testing her newly empowered potions and spells on the player and other unsuspecting townsfolk, usually resulting in buffs (and occasionally funny accidents).

Well well, looks who’s here Dozy! Looks like you were right. Oh, I didn’t think you’d have the guts to show, but Dozy was positive you’d rush over. Oh ho ho! Before I administer my concoction, it’s important that you understand how brilliant I am. I’m sure you’ve noticed the hot spring’s waster acts as a powerful restorative. It makes a perfect base for my potionwork. I believe this elixir will give you the power of a dragon. Maybe you’ll even turn into one for me. [D-dragons? I don’t think they exist.] My, I’ve never met such a terrible liar, it’s so charming. [A dragon verses a mere sorceress sounds pretty one-sided.] It’s so cute when you try to be threatening! Just remember I’m the only one who could turn you back, silly. Whenever you’re ready, [NAME]. What the- But I’m sure the recipe was correct… What went wrong? Ah yes, CLEARLY the issue lies with you, [NAME]. Willy-nilly infusions of power have unstabilized your morphogenic field. [Well at least I can still talk…] Y-you can still talk? [Very funny, now stop horsing around, Juniper] Well at least your abysmal sense of humor is still intact… … This has been a complete waste of time. I’ll prepare the counterspell. [Try to cheer Juniper up.] [Try to make Juniper mess up again.] Now let’s see. What are you- Oh ho ho! Okay, okay. Hold still. There, no harm done. You still make an excellent test subject. I’ll call on you again when I have something new to try.

Juniper asked me to come and help her with some "menial errands". How does Dozy put up with it...	Meet Juniper in her room at the Bathhouse.

Receive a letter from Juniper asking you to come over to her room at the bathhouse as she needs you to take care of some menial errands while she works on an important piece of spellwork. She also asks you to wear something nice as she doesn't want you to embarrass her with the "typical getup you throw on". There you are! Ah, that's what you've decided to wear? Well this will hardly do. I suppose you'll have to go as me, and I'll have to borrow that unfashionably dressed body of yours in the meantime. Your instructions and packages are on the desk. (Juniper casts a spell and you two switch bodies. You go to Celine's house.) Celine: Hey Juniper! If you're stopping by that means the new plant growth tonic is ready, huh? Ooh, exciting! You know... Before you moved to town I was the only person here who was interested in this sort of thing. It's been really fun collaborating with you on this. It's been so nice having a project with you! O-oh! Thanks Juniper, it means a lot to hear you say that. Let's not get too mushy. Haha! Okay, okay. I'll let you know how the new formula works out. Say hi to Dozy for me. (You go to the manor next. Elsie greets you.) Elsie: Juniper! I was just about to go for a stroll, care to join me? Ahh, making the delivery rounds? Thank you, dear. There's something nearly magical about your skin serums, much better than anything I've used in the Capital. And I do so appreciate the home deliveries. So thoughtful! Dozy getting along alright? And how's that new friend of yours, [Player Name]? [Player Name] is a real saint. Well now! I'm glad you've finally started being a little more honest with yourself. [Player Name] is a clown. Is that so? But we could all use someone around to make us laugh. Take it from me and treasure those who choose to spend time with you, Juniper. We all appreciate your company, that's for sure. I won't keep you. I know we both have places to be! Let's catch up later this week. (You go back to Juniper's room. She switches you back.) Well, how did it go? No issues. Seems you were right about [Player Name] again, Dozy. Everyone had such nice things to say about you! W-why is that a surprise? In any case, thank you for your help. Don't let it go to your head, though!
