This monster only has a ranged attack. Touching the slime causes no damage. It will shoot projectiles at the player that cannot pass through rocks and other barriers. Use your surroundings to your advantage and weave like your measly health depends on it. A 'strike and retreat, repeat' strategy works. You can also reflect the projectiles back at the monster with your sword, if you get the timing right. Doing so is the best option, as it does more damage than hitting the monster.
