Taliferro is described as prickly, arrogant, and overcritical. He is said to like food that has been "elevated." He behaves selfishly and refers to the other vendors as "peasants," and refers to himself as a noble from the Capital. He tells Ari that he deserves only the finest and has "quite a developed palate."

Taliferro appears to be a young, blond man with slicked back hair. His spring outfit is a traditional chef's uniform.
Story[]
During Nora's Saturday Market Committee Election, when he is selected as a candidate for Chief Councilor, Taliferro's platform is "give me all of the money so I can expand my booth, and the rest of you peasants can share a single table. It's the Saturday Market I deserve!"
